Based at Taitung Airbase is 737th Fighter Training Wing which also operates the aggressor unit, the 46th TFS. The 46th TFS is a independent command unit and is the ACMI/aggressor squadron for the RoCAF. The inclusion of large numbers of defectors from the mainland in the Taiwanese armed forces enables the aggressor training program to be especially accurate in simulating the tactics of their most likely opponent.

Typhoon a Wind of change for Boelcke
A wind of change is blowing true Jagdbombergeschwader 31 in Nörvenich, Germany. The first four Eurofighters have been handed over to the Wing just before Christmas 2009. During 2010 the current Tornado pilots will convert to Eurofighter (EF2000) operation and JaBoG 31 will retire her Tornado later this year.
